How to Convert Nook Books to Kindle Fire/Paperwhite?

It seems a little bit hard to read Nook books on Kindle Fire/Paperwhite because most readers, like the Nook reader, use ePub format mostly while Amazon Kindle uses the MOBI format and can't recognize the ePub eBooks. You can convert Nook books to Kindle friendly format by using third-party software or install Nook app on your Kindle device.

You must say that the Nook app is not available in the Amazon app store. But you can still get it after a few tricks. In this post, we will describe these two ways in detail and then you can choose whichever way to read Nook books on Kindle Fire or Kindle Paperwhite.

Solution 1 - Install Nook App on Kindle

The method we introduced here enables you to read Nook books on Kindle Fire without rooting your Kindle device.

Step 1. Make your Kindle Fire allowed to install apps

To do this, you can tap the setting icon that is on the top right corner on Kindle Fire screen, choose the options of "More" -> "Device" -> "Allow Installation of Applications" and press the button of "ON".

Step 2. Search and download the Nook app for Kindle

Use Google or Kindle Fire built-in browser to search for "Nook for Android APK free download". Click the option button of "Download" to install it onto your Kindle Fire or Kindle Fire HD.

However, this method doesn't work for black-and-white Kindle / Paperwhite eReaders. If you want to read Nook books on all Kindle devices, you can switch to the solution 2.

Solution 2. Convert Nook Books to Kindle
